Since my younger daughter was homeschooled from grade 6-12 we didn't take part in a lot of the typical traditions her older siblings enjoyed. Elizabeth never cared about cliques. She befriended a wide range of people of all ages and from all walks of life. She never attended a prom and to this day doesn't think she missed anything. My husband and I insisted, however, that she have "senior" photos taken. We have them of all our older kids and wanted one of her as well to display on the high shelf in our dining room. A dear friend is a wonderful photographer, so she came to take the photos yesterday. Out of 200 shots, these are our favorites so far. There will be another 100 photos coming in the
next few days.

We'll be having our own graduation in a few weeks, and of course hosting an enormous get together for family and friends. She's done a great job as a homeschooled student and is eager to start college in the fall, studying Criminal Justice. At this point in time, Forensic Psychology is a big interest as well.

I know you must be extremely proud of her!
My daughter was also homeschooled (earlier part of her elementary years). I felt that it helped her to develop her good study habits that not only got her into a great college, but kept her on the Dean's List throughout. Your little beauty will do just as well, Kim!
You are blessed to have such a lovely daughter! Thank you for sharing her story with us. And best of luck to her!!!
pretty girl!
She is doing very well and the same age as my daughter.

Tell her that her shoes in the first pic are da bomb.
(Does anyone say "da bomb" any more?)
