I thought i was going to be taking brianne to pt and ot today, boy was I wrong. The kids ped called the house to check on brianne because she was so sick and they were not sure what she had. So they have been calling pretty much daily to get an update on her. Well this time when they called she was at school and the nurse heard brayden cough. She said that the cough does not sound to good and he should be checked. Well I figured he had seasonal allergeries, but I thought it would be better to be safe then sorry.
I had a hard time conviencing him to go to the dr. Last time he went we got his shots. He calls them "Pokes". So I made a promise that I was pretty sure I could keep and I told him they were not going to poke him. He saw the nurse to poked him and he is like there is no way i am going with you LOL.. So she promised him that he would have no pokes either.
Well the dr. came in asked me what my main concern was. I told him I believed he has seasonal allergies, but he does have a deep cough. I told him monday he was complaining about his ear hurting. He checks out his right ear and he is in and out. I am thinking okay either there is infection and he found it quick or that ear is clean. Well the right ear was clean. He moves over to the left, and he is in there for a good min or two. Come to find out he has milky fluid in his left ear. Then he listens to him breathe. He has some brochintius in there, but the strange thing is it is only in his right lung.
After the dr. does the exam, (this is the part that made me go DUHHH>) he looks at me and ask me if I want his opinion on what iss wrong with him. Well i can say that was not this dr brightest moment.
Well needless to say He has a ear infection, and bronchtius.
