Using an exacto knife and old pulp novels, American photographer/artist Thomas Allen created a series of delightful diaramas that spotlight the quirky appeal to the classic paperback genre. Shot in intensely dramatic macro with acute depth of field, the cut-outs give new life to these old covers, staging intimate scenes and unspoken conflicts between characters from different titles.
