Happy Wednesday! It's mid-week. It's supposed to rain today on and off. Actually, it's supposed to rain pretty much on and off for the rest of the week. The kids didn't wake me up fighting and screaming this morning, so that's a bonus. With Chris's new medication, he's back to not sleeping good. He falls asleep easily at night, but then he's up around 6am, and wakes Gilly up.
Of course, this effects their school day, as well, because they're both in bad moods and tired. Hopefully today will go good for both of them.
Not much going on for me. Tomorrow I have to go to H & R Block, and then tomorrow night is the open house at the school Gilly will attend next year. Nick swapped shifts with a co-worker, so on Friday, he's working 8-5, instead of 11-8.
He'll be home at a decent hour on Friday, but it means I have to get up with the kids on Friday. Blah.
And that's pretty much life. How's your week been?

Sky and I are headed for the mall with some coupons and gift cards
Chris will be up at he middle school, so he'd have been changing schools anyway.
For now they can't close any schools down here because there aren't many to begin with and they are already crowded. I couldn't imagine how my son would do with LESS attention than he was getting in a 25 child classroom. I hope I don't have to think about it.
It won't stop raining here. It's not pouring but it's almost constantly a drizzle to a light rain and when it is dry the ground is too wet to go out. I'm SO grumpy today!
I hope the kids have a good day today. We are on our second medication for Zachary. He is getting the generic Ritalin because the second drug the doctor tried to give him was denied by his insurance. So I looked up the formularies for the 3 insurance options and found that they assigned him the worst of the 3 in regards to adhd medications. His insurance only approves 5 max. The other two approve practically everything.
It's so frustrating. The worst part is that he is at an all-time high for being bad at home. Sure, the school gets to enjoy a good child but it is WAR at home. He fights with his sister 100 times more than he used to (it was bad before...) and I constantly battle with him.
Chris is on Ritalin (generic) right now, along with Prozac, and Risperdal. I hate medicating him like that, but frankly, the school won't deal with him if he's not. :(
My week has been good. I've been planting stuff in the containers at work, doing some small gardening here at home, and enjoying my flex hours at work.
Nolan has a field trip tomorrow (Rural Education Day) and then he has a sleep over Friday. So we are planning a nice little date night for Friday night. Other than that just the same old - work, school, baseball (both Hubby and Son), errands, .life...
