Hey Gathererererererererererererers!
There are now 73 days left until my handsome hunk of a husband comes home from the big house! I miss him so bad.
We have something called "short-timers disease." It's what the convicts call it when you only have a short amount of time left on the inside, and you are getting antsy and emotional waiting for your max-out date.
He still calls me every day. We tried changing that to every other day to save money, but I would always end up begging him to call back just one more time because I had missed him so for two days! So, the every other day thing was kind of defeating the purpose of saving money. We are now back to one phone call a day, and I have to say that it's much much better. Once a day, I look forward to that ray of sunshine - his voice on the other end telling me that we've made it through one more day and he loves me more than anyone ever! :)

Other than the countdown, nothing much else is going on around these parts. I spend my days working hard and getting ready to move into our new place. My sister's husband has been here for the past week. He is on furlough from Afghanistan, but has to go back on Thursday. :( So, they are spending their time together cuddling and packing as much fun and comfort in these days for him. :)
Today, they went to get a couple's massage at Massage Envy. And what did they surprise me with when they got home??? A gift certificate for my very own massage!!! :) It is the best gift I've gotten in soooooo long! My birthday is coming up on May 14, so I'm going to schedule my massage for that day if I can. I love my Sister and Steve! Yay!
I just remembered... I have to go drop the rent check off in the mail slot... So, I'm out of here for now. How was everyone else's day? Did you do anything fun or was it just a run-of-the-mill Tuesday?

That was very sweet and caring of your sister and hubby to do.
Your hubby's in jail, sister's hubby is in combat.
Your Hubby's coming home soon, her Hubby is leaving soon.
Yet you're close enough in your situations to really be THERE for eachother.
I'm glad that Walker got his military stuff out of the way long before I was even born. Jail is one thing (you know he's coming home again) but WAR? Damn friggen war. The people who should be in jail are the politicians for declaring war.
I think you are a strong woman, and an amazing wife. The reunion between you and your husband will be very special. (((HUGS)))
