You can speed up the process of composting and get the rich black matter faster if you feed the pile. For every half foot or so of compost you pile up sprinkle a can of beer on top of it. Then once a month mix a can of any kind of pop except diet, 1 can of beer and one cup of any type of liquid dish soap that is NOT anti bacterial. Fill a hose end type sprayer with the mixture and saturate your compost pile. Go Green
