I have been really low on energy these past few months. One of the things my doctor did was to send me to see an allergy/asthma specialist. Good thing I went . I knew I had allergies but didn't realize that I had triggered my asthma to that extent that it has . I am allergic to alder trees, mixed trees( what ever that means), mixed grass, english plantain .They are were just a 1. Cockroaches were a 3, but fortunately we don't have any here where I live. Topping the list at 5 each is Cat Hair, Cat Pelt,House Dust and Dust Mites .
So, I first called a cleaning lady because my house needs a good cleaning. Secondly I am going to get an air filter for my bed room and library/office. Some things that are bad for dust are books and stuffed animals. I have no intention of getting rid of my books so I will have to keep them dusted . Already got rid of all the carpets that we can .
The hardest thing I have to do is find new homes for our cats. We have had Rusty for 5 years and Harry for 3 years My daughters are really giving me a hard time about that . It is not a decesion I made lightly. Christy says they are her cats ,yet the cats come to me the most for both food and attention. Rusty thinks he owns my desk , he jumps up on my computer table every day and demands to be scratched . No doubt about it , it is going to be hard for me too. .I will find myself watching at the window for them to meow to come in for a good long time and i wll shed a few tears of my own. I had considered allergy shots but they are not covered by our insurance and are just too expensive . I am really glad that I am not allergic to my dogs Misty and Snuffy. That would really be a tragedy . Almost like giving up my kids, LOL
Hopefully, all this will help me get my allergies and asthma under control, which will give me back some energy to do other things in my life .
