I'm currently working on a gift for most of the females in my family for Christmas. Christmas seems like a long ways off, but some of my family has asked for something specific that is going to take me a while to get done. Since I am known as the dessert/bakery person in out family, a few of my aunts have asked for my recipes for the desserts that I bring to family events.
I had this great idea to do a picture book(from Snapfish or some other place that will make photo books) and make all of the items throughout the summer, take pictures of the steps and final product to put with the recipes in the book and present them as gifts for Christmas to all the female members of my family.
I have about 10 recipes that I'm going to put in there, but would like to have somewhere between 15-20. I've been looking around foodnetwork.com, but I know there are a ton of other food/recipe websites that I've forgotten about.
What are some of the websites you use to get recipes or new ideas for desserts or bakery items?

My favorite tho is Paula Deen, with all of her wonderful recipes!
This sounds like a fabulous idea. Good luck, and I hope they love it!
http://allrecipes.com is a good website as well.
best I've found
When I'm looking for a classic recipe, I check by recipe name and depends on what I find and where it takes me.....but mostly I get recipes from my collection of zillions of cookbooks.
