Requesting Coupons From Companies - Results Six Days Later

Last Tuesday I posted a post about writing emails to compannies to request coupons, and I am happy to say that I have already received some great feedback. Within two days I had received email responses from almost all the companies letting me know that coupons were on the way, and in one case that they did not have any coupons to send out.

 

Today, six days later this is the result of my email quest.

 

Places that I had contacted in the past:

Edy's Ice Cream (received email that coupons are on their way)

Ore Ida (received coupons several 50 cents off)

Heinz Ketchup (received coupons - several 50 cents off)

Hunts (no response yet)

Del Monte (received email that coupons are on their way)

Pepperidge Farm (received  4 x 50 cents coupons for any Pepperidge Farm product)

V8 - Campbells (received 3 x $1 coupon for any campbells/V8 product.)

St. Ives (received coupons 2 x 50 cents off and two samples)

CVS - complimenting their training pants (no response)

 

These are companies that I had not contacted before.

 

Nature's Own (received email that they do not send out coupons)

Bertolli (received coupons for many different Alberto Culver products with exp. in 2010)

Athenos (no response yet)

Tofuyan (Received three free coupons)

Scott - Miracle Gro (Received email that coupons are on their way)


If you sent out any emails after reading my post last week, did you receive any coupons yet?

I might try that with Cream of Wheat coupons as I really need the high iron it has, but with my pay being cut, I can't afford to eat it as much.

Good for you! It does pay to compliment the makers of your favorite products and it pays to ask for coupons. I haven't done that lately, but I usually do about twice per year.

Go you! I have emailed Arm & Hammer (for cat litter coupons) and also General Mills (for raisin nut bran coupons). Just did it today and hope to be as successful as yo were! I think I need to email Gain next.

I emailed Frito Lay about the availability of Dorito coupons, and was mailed three $1 off coupons within the week. An unexpected surprise, especially since by email I was told to that the only way to get a coupon was to go through the Sunday paper or food circulars. Thank you so much for suggesting this strategy j - frugal mom!

I followed your wonderful advice and have received coupons from OreIda, Edys, Pepperidge Farm and I'm going to keep trying.  If I get any extra I will let you know so others can try.  Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know so others can benefit.  It's very kind.
