I'm sending my husband to the store to buy stir fry sauce. I want a good tasting one. I've been craving Chicken Stir Fry. Anyone know of a good stir fry sauce to buy? How about a Chicken Stir Fry recipe too?
we LOVED the Lawry's stir fry sauce but I think they discontinued it. Haven't been able to find it in ages. I usually end up using Lawry's Teriyaki marinade instead but it's not as good for stir fry as the regular stir fry sauce. We just don't like Kikkoman's and that's the only other one I can find. PIF
Have to say I agree, I don't use a lot of stir fry sauces. Marinating the meat in teriyaki sauce is what I do and then add a litte bit of that to cooking, but otherwise unless I do something that can be dipped in a sauce like 'duck' sauce, I don't do sauces. I have made General Tso's chicken which I have bought a sauce for but it was spicy so I had to tone it down with honey and brown sugar... Mooch
I make my own with veggie broth ( you can use chicken) soy sauce and corn starch. I think they call that a slurry. ALso I add sesame oil just before I serve it.
I usually dip the chicken in some flour, and fry it up with some butter, then add some soy sauce and whoeshire sauce(i spelled that wrong), and add some frozen mixed stir fry veggies and let it simmer. I never found a stir fry sauce I liked, either too tangy or too sweet.

I always use a good terriyaki, garlic pineapple I like best by Kikkoman's, then I cut up boneless chicken breast, stirfry that and throw in whatever veggies and shrooms I can get ahold of, making sure to constantly move the mixture and that the pan is super hot!
I usually make my own sauce - soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, peanut oil, spicy sesame oil, garlic, ginger, Chinese mustard, onion (or scallion)... It's expensive to get all of the ingredients, but once you have them, you can make fried rice, lo mein, etc.
