Smell the Roses – Instead of concentrating on all the things that might be going wrong in the day early on, try to see things in a positive light. That means taking an extra second or two to see the flowers are blooming or to actually listen to the birds chirping. It can not only stimulate the senses, but help you appreciate the small things in life, too.
I liked the article on what your eyes tell about you.
I enjoyed the 100 mood songs and singing in the shower. This morning I would start singing one and then find myself starting another until I realized that I will need to play many of these and learn all the words.
Since this was my first time trying this, it took me a while too. i feel pretty dumb right now.
I enjoyed the article 5 Ways I Stay Sane..., especially about writing when you feel overwhelmed. The writer said that one of the ways you can stay sane is to have a journal where you can write down your feelings so you can work out what's stressing you instead of feeling overwhelmed.
Try to do a little light exercise in the morning to energize yourself and get your metabolism going to burn off some extra calories.
The tip I liked, and agreed with most, was to get enough sleep. That a good day starts the night before by going to bed at a reasonable hour. That's something I don't always manage, and I always pay for it the next day.
I love the idea of writing your feelings down in a journal to express how your feeling.
I like the ideas of planning ahead. With being a new mom, I am so scatterbrained in the morning that I need to start planning ahead. Also thought it was cool to hear that singing in the shower is helpful!
I like the advice of asking for help. Even though this article is about the work place, it can also apply to your family. A job or chore is so much easier and even fun when you have a helper.
and I like the tip of get enough sleep I try to do that but ...
I think the best tip is get a good nights sleep because if my sleep is interrupted Im really dragging the next day and a bit on the cranky side - the journal is good also it help you put all your thoughts in perspective
Getting a goods night sleep is one of the best tips. Now if they can tell me how to do it? LOL I've had insomnia since I was 12. I get drug down. I think I probably work better on 3-5 hours of sleep better than most people though!
I think that getting a good night of rest is the best thing because ever since i was little people were like get a good nights rest and eat breakfast in the morning. Like then i would just lye there and could not sleep.
Tip-We all have those days. Nothing is going right and you just want to cry. Next time you feel that way, just breathe, count to ten, and put on a favorite song. I’ve compiled a list of 100 positive and uplifting songs that will no doubt put you in a great mood.
And I could not agree more with others. Getting a good nights rest does wonders for me. I do not function without my rest.
tip - doing some light exercises in the morning can energize you & gets your metabolism going to burn off extra calories
Now this put a smile on my face for sure!
You know sometimes the hardest thing to do in the morning is put a smile on my face!! I try hard as I crawl out of bed and stretch. I love this tip.
I also agree with getting enough sleep for your own body. My husband sleeps if he is lucky 4-5 hours a day. Me I need a solid 7 to function. So it's important to get the proper rest for you!

i like the journal entry thing. i do that a lot. it helps clear the clutter out of my brain.
1. Get enough sleep.
2. Plan ahead.
3. Take your vitamins.
My day is never good when I don't get enough sleep because I feel bad and get in a bad mood. If I plan ahead at night, I tend to have less stress the next day when I have to get ready to go out somewhere. I always take my vitamins daily as well.
The tip i liked was getting enough sleep. if you dont sleep the night before the next day will not go well
I loved the article on 5 Ways to Stay Sane. I'm a mom to six so I very much appreciate humor when it comes to those messes and everyday challenges!
I like the part where it says to give yourself a pep talk every morning. Some days it is just so hard to be positive, and have a good outlook on the day. But if I start the day with a pep talk it will help me have a better attitude and accomplish more.
I appreciated the idea of getting everything ready the night before. It kind of reminds me of what I used to do when I was a child. I'm not sure how I lost that positive habit! I do try to write in my journal what I hope to accomplish the following day.
I like the idea of planning ahead.
I like the idea of getting my stuff together the night before. Then i don't have to stress out in the morning.
I would love to be able to sleep through the night so I could start the day with a smile on my face! But I do plan ahead. I generally have a very good idea of everything I want to get accomplished the next day before I go to bed. I take some quiet time before bed to relax from the day and plan the next day.
Get Enough SLEEP" Most Adults Need 6.5 hrs To 8 hrs of Sleep per Night"
Plan AHEAD for the Next Day; Lay Out Clothes for the Next Day to make Things Run Smooth
Healthy Breakfast" !! MAKE SURE YOU TAKE YOUR SAM-e Complete 30 minutes before breakfast *****
EXERCISE, EXERCISE"! Even its just Walking"
Make Sure " Take Your Vitamins Every Day"
Take Time to Smell the Roses" Sl;ow Down Your Every Day Pace"
Give Yourself a Little Pep Talk"
I Even Took The SAM-e Mood Quiz" It Says I'm Like a Tree, the Mighty Oak,Down to Earth, Strong & Have Long Branches To Nurture Others; but Like the Tree's Leaves Change
in The Fall; You Find Your Moods Change, when Life's Challenge's are Overwhelming".
I always get a jumpstart by exercising in the morning, It makes me feel energized all day!
Getting enough sleep = I really need to get better at that!
