Walgreens Shopping 5/3/09

As far as what I spent, this was my best Walgreen's shopping trip yet.

I got:

2 bottles of Pert Plus for Men on sale for 2 for $5.  I used 1-$1.50 coupon and 1-$1 coupon.  I got $2 in register rewards.

2 bags of Twix Minis on sale 2 for $5.  No coupons used.  I got $1 in register rewards.

1 box of Thermacare on sale for $5.99.  I used a $3 coupon. (my notes: I bought this because I read online that I would get $3 in register rewards for the purchase.  I did not get any register rewards.  It was still a good deal at half price on sale and with the coupon and I need them, but I am still disappointed.  Also, the register did not want to scan the internet coupon that I printed, however, the cashier looked and it was for the correct product so he manually deducted it.)

4-25 sq ft rolls of Walgreens aluminum foil.  I used the Walgreens coupon to get them for .59 each.

4-Car air freshners on clearance for .10 each.

1-lip gloss on clearance for .25

I used 1-$5, 2-$3, and 1-$2 register rewards.  Total out of pocket-----$1.73!!!  I spent that from my Walgreens card from the rebate.  I have a balance left on my card of $10.80.

Now...the problem I see if that I only have $3 in register rewards to use on my next trip.  I'm going to have to do the multiple transaction thing next week to make it work out.
