Sam-e Warning for Bipolar Patients

I have noticed alot of advertisments for Sam-e, not only here but in other web sites. I wanted to put it out here that it is not recommended for Bipolar Patients to take Sam-e. Due to a possibility of mania occuring. Here is a link to Mentalhelp.com regaurding this suppliment. I just wanted to pass this information along to everyone here. Sam-e warning from Mental Help.

Since Sam-e is touted for its mood elevating qualities. I looked into it for myself. I got to the disclaimer and was glad that I am a reader, especially when it comes to meds and supplements. Thanks for stopping by and reading, commenting, and voting.

Wow, I may need to try it. Only because I have been in a depression for 4 years straight now, since going through menopause. To my astonishment a psychologist told me there are other bipolar women who change like I have too.
