Yesterday's arts & craft festival on our local beach had many treasures, one of them being a flower booth by Majestic Foliage from Homestead, FL. The orchids caught my eye immediately, as I have secretly been dreaming of having orchids light up my home.
There were many beautiful air plants as well, and these were really fascinating.
Air plants are epiphytes, which are plants that absorb everything they need from the air through their leaves and not through their roots.
The beauty of the flowers and foliage in the beach setting was a treat for any plant lover.

I see the water in the background and it looks so beautiful. We went to the bay this weekend to stay with family and I just love being by the water. It is the best thing in the world. We missed the Fairie Festival this year because we went down, but it is almost always alright to miss something we love when we go down to this house. It's just so perfect. They even have a sign in the house that says, "If you're lucky enough to have a house by the water, you're lucky enough." And it is so true! You are so fortunate to live near the beautiful ocean!
I would love to have orchids growing in my home also, I just love them!
