The gang went for another quad ride this weekend up on the Mogollon Rim, Arizona to a place just above Chevlon Canyon Lake. It's a little higher up on the map than is shown here. This map does show part of the Mogollon Rim.

As we rode along we stopped from time to time to look out over the canyon to the water below. These cliffs were steep and the wind was blowing pretty hard that day. We had some really gorgeous views though. By the way, I believe this canyon is called Chevlon Canyon.

The waters run through this canyon on their way to Chevlon Canyon Lake. Chevlon Canyon Lake is a 208-acre lake that is very remote and requires a ¾ mile, very steep hike to get into.

Robert climbed up in a tree to get a better view of the lake.

One member of our group, Tiffany, was supposed to study for her college exams so she didn’t go with us this time. Instead we took Robert’s brother Joe with us.

On this trip we pass by the area known as the Rock Maze. We know it by this name because there is a geocache located in the rocky area by that name.

We stopped and had lunch near this pretty little creek.

We didn’t stop as often as we usually do but when we did it was a great chance to get shots of the beautiful wildflowers.

We had another awesome day and a great quad ride.
