We're back from shopping! I'm proud of Rae- she didn't spend all her money or gift cards, so she has stuff left for another time. We stopped at the Mall first. There, she stopped into Barnes & Noble, and then Claire's. She found several books at the first stop, and a necklace and slap bracelet at the second stop.

After that, we went to DEB's to see if there were any summer clothes on clearance- there wasn't, and they've raised their prices. For fun, I let Rae try on some prom dresses, but she refused to come out of the dressing room to let me take a picture of her. :( I did take one picture of her tying her shoes, but then the saleswoman barked at us that I can't take photos in the store.

We left after that, and headed to Target. There, Raegan got nail kit, a stick of deodorant, some candy bars, a pair of jean shorts, a fedora (she was on a kick wanting one all day, but they were $17 at Claire's, and $13 at DEB), and a t-shirt. The Fedora was on clearance for just under $4! She looked briefly at pay-as-you go cell phones, but opted against one.

Last up was Walmart. There, she found the first 3 books in a new series, a crystal heart ornament, and a plastic 3-drawer set for some drawing supplies. Oh! We also stopped at Dollar Tree on our way out of town, where she got a notebook, a set of colored pencils, a set of mechanical pencils, and a set of ink pens.
I bought 2 headbands on clearance at Claire's, a pair of capri's & 2 $1-spot drawing sets at Target, and 2 pairs of shorts, the canopy for our camping trip, a portable clothing line, and a candy bar at Walmart. I looked for a Northern Michigan travel guide at Barnes & Noble, but they had nothing. The art kits are for Chris & Gilly for when we go camping. One is Iron Man and the other is Littlest Pet Shop.
I also got the blu-ray Hulk for $15.99, and the DVD Fool's Gold for $6.99. I had a $20 gift card to Best Buy to cover most of it- it was $3 out of pocket!

I love shopping anytime.....anywhere. Well, except the hardware stores.
