Recently, Rick Scott, who's for-profit hospital chain defrauded Medicare, bought ads on CNN and FOX News networks. Scott's ad contains blatantly false statements and misleading edits. We've teamed up with SEIU to call on cable news networks to adhere to their own 'truth-in-advertising' policies and pull these ads. Join us!

This despite the well documented fact that public health care is more comprehensive, more universal in coverage and costs a fraction of the cost of private health care.
America should have been the leader in public health care instead of 10 lengths behind the leader.
Where do you get that figure? 3/4 without health care. No. It's 15% right now, and even that counts illegall immigrants and people who choose not to buy insurance.
Marilyn where do you get this "people that refuse to buy insurance" crap from? Do you really think people go without insurance because they want to, that's pretty poor thinking Marilyn.
The point is, if we pay any attention at all to real reality (the stuff between the media hype, you must have seen it sometime), we all do know what a sham "healthcare" is here. We all know it ought to easily be so much better. So, stop screaming and start brainstorming. Let thousands of projects bloom.
When was the last time congress asked you what you want?
If you want a glimpse of what socialized medicine is going to do, remember HMO's.........
Not sure how anyone can straight faced say this system is so popular and problem free but regardless, you have won the media wars and we'll see it within 2-3 years I think.
This is a simple fact. To cling to private health care because of some aversion to anything public when it costs more and delivers less is non-sensical.
No, Rory, it's a partial truth. There are so many problems with the socialized medicine in other countries. It's unfair for people to make out like it's some magical solution. It is not.
Marilyn you do not have to take the public option, you can keep paying private fees and get nothing for it or you can go insurance free and have even less. Its time the richest country in the world started doing something for the public that pays the bills.
Why do you think the political hacks should have free insurance for life and their inflated salaries for life and the public that pays for it should have nothing?
