Tree lined road of soil and rock
human access to the woods
Rich browns; shades of green
Sounds of nature all around
Sweet breezes waft sylvan scents
Coming to a choice
A road intersects ahead
Left, right, perhaps straight
Neither road can care a whit
nor the woods, but only you
Further up and in
down to the cool flowing stream
cross to the clearing
or yet back the way you came
beauty graces every choice
Walking just to see
hiking just for nature's sake
worry not which way
Rather be mindful of this
How will you find your way back?

The last line stops me with the word "well"
How about this: How will you find your way back?
I love "Sweet breezes waft sylvan scents"
Blessings abound.
