Dear Friends and Family:
My monthly publications are online and there is some fabulous work there for you. What do I mean?
You will see, from The Shine Journal archives, a most lovely work of art from my friend Daddario. It's so lovely that I wanted to share it once again with those who read The Shine Journal (http://www.theshinejournal.com ) Among other works is a little something from Carole Brier who speaks to us of a promise... kept? Our Artist in Residence, Alison Watt Jackson, has updated her gallery with interesting black and white photography from her climb on Mt. Kilimanjaro. In so doing, she gives clarity to another place and perhaps a slower time. Want to read something about love? Visit Daniel Wilcox's page for a special perspective on this subject.
Of the many poems appearing this month in joyful! is John Grey's "Meals" - it's as much about food as it is about family. Karen O'Leary shares a tale which underscores the adage:"Bad times don't last always..." You won't want to miss R. Baker's explanation of what "Free4Life"! means to him. A breathtaking photograph entitled "Contemplation of a Lotus" graces our front page and was contributed by Joyce Chng. Find joyful! at the following link http://www.joyfulonline.net
Thanks again, from the bottom of my heart, for your support of these zines and the talented creatives for whom these publications exist.
Best,
Pamela Tyree Griffin, Editor and Publisher
