I went to Medieval Times tonight... it was a great time!
The tickets were free through a school club, and because we couldn't get enough people from the school to go, my best friend from up north ended up meeting us there too. Free trip to Medieval Times-- who could pass that up?!
We got there early and waiting outside. Some of the horses came out to say hi...

Particularly since riding one in Spain, I have a huge affinity for Andalusians. The 'fancier' horses used at Medieval Times are this breed; they're typically gray, and were originally bred for war-related purposes.

Upon getting inside, we were assigned to the blue knight!

My goofy friends and I wasted no time in settling into our seats and preparing for the dinner and tournament...

We had a very, um, energetic blue section! The people sitting behind us were quite drunk and one guy kept trying to lead everyone in cheers. It's hard to see, but here he is...

There were 10 of us total. Some of us were more into the show than others ;)

The above photo both cracks me up and terrifies me! The one below makes me laugh, too...

I couldn't resist getting a silly shot of myself.

And Dirk took one of me and Cory. Cory and I met in first grade, realized our names rhymed, and decided to be best friends. It's worked out well!

And Cory took a photo of Dirk and I. Our outfits matched our knight, yay!

It's hard to get photos of the actual show, unfortunately...

I did get some videos, which I'll post later.
It was a really great time, with good food and even better company! Today was really one of those days that really reminded me of why I love my friends so much. Hooray!
