For all you poets and wordsmiths out there, Blue Mountain Arts is looking for contemporary prose or poetry, written from personal experience, for publication on greeting cards. Pay is $300 per poem for the worldwide, exclusive rights to publish it on a greeting card and other products, and $50 per poem for one-time use in a book. The author gives permission to SPS Studios, Inc. to publish and display the entry on the Web (in electronic form only) if the entry is selected as a winner or finalist. Winners will be contacted within 45 days of the deadline date. Contest is open to everyone except employees of SPS Studios and their families. Void where prohibited."
Perhaps you can try both ways of submission!

I am. Thank you Mary. It's so kind of you to be thinking of others in this time of what I can only imagine is emotional pain for you. I think you're mom had it right. More uplifting words could not have been spoken. This does indeed need to be a card, to help others in your shoes.
