Missing Gather friends.... very odd

I've noticed it on mine also. Yet when you go to their individual pages you will see you are still connected.

Yes, happens all the time. I get a friend request stating "I thought we were already connected, what happened?". With over 400 connections I can't always keep track. One day it will just dawn on me that I haven't seen a certain person around lately and when I go check I see we aren't connected any longer.

I've had a few people contact me thinking I had disconnected but I hadn't. They just disappeared off my page.

Yes, some people have experienced a glitch that randomly disconnects them from others.

I've also had that happen to me....it's frustrating but am glad to know I'm not the only one having this problem!!!

Had the same problem here, but mine weren't still connected. :( Hope they can look into this and get it resolved.

I could be wrong but I was thinking I read someplace where gather was going to start deleting ones that haven't been on for awhile. Maybe it was groups sorry I can't remember.

This has happened to me before too Teresa. One day I'll be checking out their content and notice that we're no longer connected; I resend a connection request and they accept right away. The other day I also got a note from someone who wanted thought we were already connected (we were, so something other than us made the change).

Don't have a clue. I think I read where someone said that when gather does updates it sometimes drops friends off of your friend list. Strange.

Yes I have seen a bit of that myself every once in a while I loose a friend for some reason It just may be because Im do a lot of freebie and deal posting and some of my friends were more interested in pictures or something and do not want my posts cluttering up there friends feed . Or I was thinking it might be because I did not comment on every post . I spend a lot of time commenting, mostly on posts that catch my eye or make me curious .

This has happened to me several times...usually after a Gather upgrade. It is most likely a glitch.

make someone mad? around here if you make someone mad they cry to their friends and the all mass dump you

they haven't upgraded in a few days so if its new i dont think its a glitch, but hopefully it is a glitch

This does happen occasionally, and is merely a glitch. However, not one that Gather officially recognizes (or at least they didn't at one time). There is no way of knowing whom you are no longer connected to though and no indication that you didn't intentionally disconnect.
