My Two Cents on Deli Creations

I've been reading everyone's reviews of deli creations, so today I got two because we didnt have time to cook.  I ate one on foccacia bread- haven't tried the flatbread...

My review isn't as 'fancy' as some, but here's what I thought...

The buffalo style steak sandwhich was good- until I thought about the price...for $5 I can get a footlong roast beef at subway- making their 6 inch the same price...it is the same price ($2.50).  Now, granted it is not steak pieces, but you can make it a melt...and you get veggies on it where the deli creations gives you none.  Without the buffalo sauce (although they do have it at subway) the 6 inch is about 225 calories- almost half of the deli creations.  And the deli creations sandwhich is less than 1/2 as big!  It is not filling- at least not for a big'n like me- but the 6 inch subway sandwhich is...

I only tried the one Deli Creations, but unless you get an excellent coupon- I wouldn't try it!

I got mine free, but otherwise they are too pricy for me to buy which makes me sad because I love the fiesta wrap

I totally agree with you - for the price without a coupon or sale, it's just not worth it. Yes, they are good, but I can't afford convenience foods like that if I'm not getting a good value for my money.

The advantage would be when you need a fast lunch and don't have a Subway nearby or don't have time to go there

My wife says they are selling well at the store she works at. She also says that many people from local businesses buy them for lunch. I guess they are looking for something different at times...
You're absolutely correct that $5. is way too much for a small sandwich as this. I would not buy them at that price, but when using the coupons I was sent, I found that they were $2.-$2.50 now, and at that prices, they really are a nice break from everyday lunch for us. I know my teen loves to come home from school and find them in the fridge. But $5., no, that's a lot of money for the little bit you get.

That price is too steep for me especially when I can get something I prefer from a sandwich shop. They might be okay if your other options are limited.

I don't know if I would pay over $2 for them either. Then again, they are much more convenient than subway for us. I like having them in the fridge so that we don't have to go anywhere for lunch, but I don't have to really cook if I don't want to either. They are also great to stick in my husband's "lunch" for work. He works third shift and nothing is open at that time so it has to be something from home for him.

I got a freebie coupon, and I agree.  Fine for a desperation lunch, but I wouldn't spend my money otherwise.
