Five Elements

One of the basic principles of feng shui are the five elements.

The Five elements are

 

Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water.

 

Each element is represented by a specific color.  Adding color is one of the easiest ways to energize the chi in your space.

Wood = Green

Fire = Red

Earth = Yellow

Metal = White

Water = Black

 

It is said that to bring good chi to your home you should have all five element colors around the front door of your home.

My friend escaped NY, moved down south and did her whole house this way. She is living so peacefully...I know there is something to all this, trying so hard to get my home in order.

Thank you for the Great Tip on Feng Shui Color Placement. I have became Highly Interested in Feng Shui and I have seen Positive Actions because of it.
