Yes, the cake! It's one of the few things I look forward to as I get a year older.
The bakery, one I will miss so much once I leave Georgia, is closed on Sunday's and Mondays. My 41st birthday is on Monday. There was no way I wasn't having a McEntyres cake this year. So I picked it up last night.
It's a little 9" cake with loads of icing. I love icing and their's is so sweet it's absolutely sinful. I think you can gain weight just looking at it, lol.
So in celebration of May and May Babies everywhere. Enjoy a piece of virtual cake!

I know you have to move, but it sounds like a "for now" thing, so since it's also a gorgeous area, not to mention being RIGHT on the beach, (photos, please?), you'll be coming back, right? I love the photo's you took of the beach house, and would love living there instead of where I am. ;) That IS a hint. lol You'll be back in no time, and you might wish you were still there. When and where is the party, on here? Let us know! I cook. *grin*

That cake sure is tempting, even though I don't like colored frosting, I'd think I'd have to at least try it. So do tell us what kind of cake is it on the inside and is that cream cheese frosting or buttercream or just the fattening kind?:)

That's one thing I miss on my birthday. I have to eat gluten-free and until this year, no one bought or made me a gluten-free cake.
This year my dear daughter made one for me. It was the highlight of my B-day. :-)
