Wow, I have to tell you about the concert my hubby and I went to on Wednesday. It was Yanni Voices at the Ted Constant Auditorium in Norfolk, VA. My husband loves Yanni's music, so I gave him tickets to the concert for his birthday this year. I've heard Yanni's music but I really didn't know what to expect at the concert. For those who aren't familiar with Yanni, he's a self-taught pianist, keyboardist and composer.
We had great seats. I had requested handicap seats since my husband broke his foot nine weeks ago and is still on crutches. We were right at center stage. Yanni, as a composer/pianist, generally does contemporary instrumental (some call it New Age) music, but for this concert he added singers to much of the music. And what fantastic voices these singers have.
It you have the opportunity to see this concert in your area, I would highly recommend it. It was absolutely fabulous!
