Author Brenda Novack has 
a charity auction
to benefit diabetes research (her son has it), and many many authors/editors/agents have contributed items. I put up a Beach Read Bag for auction - full of a beach towel, sea shell candles, a mermaid cell phone charm, a signed copy of In Over Her Head, as well as about 15 other books to take to the beach with you.
Bidding started today and runs through May 31.
There are editor/agent critiques/lunches/consultations (my agent, Jennifer Schober, and my editor, Deb Werksman, are participating), vacations, jewelry, gift cards, etc. Christopher Paolini is donating a signed copy of Brisingr, Jane Porter is donating a 6 day vacation for two to Seattle and Vancouver, there are cruises, a stay at Nora Robert's B&B... lots of goodies!
