I am finally taking the time to finish posting the photos I have not had a chance to post of the Salem Burying Ground next to the Witch's Memorial as well as the other burying ground,which is near the village green in the middle of town.
This cemetery is the one in the middle of town.
I was touched by the lollipops on this tiny, old graves.
This stone has a willow carving, a traditional mourning sign.
This one has an urn, also a mourning sign.
I was amused by the expression on this winged skull. It looks quite grumpy to me.
All three of these stones have winged skulls, but the styles definitely differ.
