Survivor Tocantins is finally getting good after two blindsides as we speed on to the season finale. After taking out Tyson, Sierra returned to camp happier then ever after being blindsided herself. She expected to go home that night but has yet another chance. Sadly, Coach didn’t freak out like you would think. He basically said, along with Debbie, that it was a “good move” to keep their place at least somewhat good. Stephen knew they didn’t freak out since they were now at the bottom but he wanted them to freak. He wanted them to explode rather then plot behind his back because there still is a possibility for another flip. The next morning Debbie began talking to Stephen and JT where it seems things were all good. Not sure why she would believe the old alliance was still together, but they didn’t disagree. The plan was for Sierra and Erinn to go next. Something Debbie would be stupid to believe after the last Tribal Council where their alliance basically split.
Following the talk with JT and Stephen, Debbie talked to Coach. They both agreed that they couldn’t trust Stephen and JT any longer and realized they were not playing for at most fourth and fifth. Jalapao gained the upper hand as Timberia continued to fall apart. Their plan was to rebuild Timberia, forming an alliance of Coach, Debbie, Erinn and Sierra. Why do I find it hard to believe that Sierra will want anything to do with it? At the reward challenge it was time to bring out the alliances. They first had to answer questions about the remaining players and then answer those questions back on the majority vote. The winner would be the person whose statue was still standing and all had three lives. In the end the person who won would send one Survivor to Exile and take two with them on the reward to a natural spring and feast.
As the challenge began it was obvious who was going to get the most negative answers and who would go out first. Sierra got knocked out in the second round and she knew it was because everyone still wanted her gone. Coach went out next, thanks to Erinn. Showing that there is little hope for Timberia getting back together as Debbie was next. The four that voted out Tyson were left, obviously showing their alliance. As Erinn and JT went, that left Taj and Stephen in the final two. Stephen had the advantage which gave him the win, keeping him from Exile for once. He decided to send Erinn to Exile, in hopes of a new idol clue while he took Taj and JT to the reward. Old Jalapao is REALLY in power, who would have thunk it?
At the reward the three Jalapao arrived at a Brazilian farm. The food came piling out and they stuffed their faces full as usual. Towards the end one of the little girls fell off the bench and began to cry as Taj jumped into action. She was reminded of her son and began to cry as she cradled the little girl as if it was her son. They don’t show these moments much lately but I for see the family reward coming very soon. They then were led to the spring which was very odd. They jumped in and sank but there was no bottom. Water pushed up against their feed and kept them afloat. While the three were alone, Taj, JT and Stephen talked about the game. At first they wanted Sierra gone next but talk turned to voting out Debbie. She’s been in this episode more then ever, so it could just happen. Stephen thinks that she is a very shrewed player, and wants someone he can predict to stay over someone who is sneaky.
Over at Exile Erinn wasn’t doing well. She couldn’t start a fire and the storm was coming in. The next morning she was beat but was proud of what she accomplished. It was all in vein though as there was no new clue to the idol. Back at the Forza camp, Sierra, Debbie and Coach talked. Debbie wanted Sierra to vote how Coach wanted, basically remaking the Timberia alliance. Sierra couldn’t say yes and she then went on to say that Stephen/JT won’t keep those two in the game very long. Debbie wouldn’t listen to it though and basically didn’t want to hear the truth. She told Sierra to stop talking and screamed at her. After Debbie ran off we heard from Coach. He still wanted to work with JT, he just had to find his trust in him again.
The next morning the three Jalapao were back at camp and talk turned about the day before. Coach grabbed JT right away and they talked about sending Sierra home. Talk then turned to Sierra wanting to rebuild the Timberia alliance and take out JT and Stephen. A what? He doesn’t lie? It was Debbie and Coach who brought up the idea, not Sierra. On the other side of camp the same was happening, but the truth. Sierra and Stephen talked and she revealed what Coach/Debbie were planning to do. This freaked Stephen out as he feared a Timberia rebirth could kill his and JT’s game. Stephen then went to talk to JT and found Coach there with him. Coach again said it was Sierra who talked about rebuilding Timberia, lieing yet again. When Stephen/JT were alone, they realized both were saying the opposite story. They feel that in the end Sierra could stay since she’s loyal and could have just proved Coach a liar.
It was then time to jump into the Immunity challenge. The first part dealt with throwing a grappling hook to catch three balls. The three to get their balls across first would move onto a puzzle board. The first person to move their ball through the puzzle would win immunity. JT and Coach were even throughout and grabbed the first two spots in the finals. It was then down to Debbie and Stephen as both caught two after that, but Debbie got her third first. Debbie, Coach and JT then moved onto the puzzle board where Debbie and JT had issues with the balls falling through the holes. In the end it came down to JT and Coach. JT’s ball fell through right at the end, giving Coach the win and the safety he probably really needed.
Back at camp it was all about Coach as he was glad he wouldn’t get a blindside and well, he gave his yoga and mediation credit for his immunity challenge win. It’s possible, but I still think he’s crazy. As Coach discusses his yoganess, Sierra talks to old Jalapao, telling them that she is the one telling the truth and calls out Coach to prove it. Debbie jumps in to defend herself while Coach lies, yet again. Even after Sierra catches him in the obvious lie, but Debbie screws herself by crying and whining about fighting. Alone, Stephen and JT discussed what just happened and believe Sierra caught Coach lieing. It then comes down to voting out Debbie or Sierra, they both have pros and cons. Keeping Sierra means they have a loyal vote, but they think she’s crazy. Debbie is a sneaky player, but they know she isn’t that strong. It all comes down to those two again, somewhat predictable. At Tribal Council Sierra once again called out Coach and let everyone know she caught him in the lie. He basically says she is psycho though and tries to make himself look better by belittling others. Wow, what a great Coach he must be. Nothing much was really said at tribal so let’s get to the votes. It was an odd one as Sierra got a vote, then Debbie. Then out of the blue, Stephen got a vote. Debbie got another followed by Sierra, who got two more. Sierra was the one leaving and it’s sad, since Coach WAS lying, people are just too stupid to believe the guy who tells the most unbelievable story about the Amazon in the whole wide world.
