My Out Come In Court with Slum Lord ( Your Not going to Believe It)

I went to Court Yesturday Morning and Your Not Going to Believe What The Out come Was.....

I went Into Court with  Hospital Papers Of Me Getting Scabies From The Infestion Of Mice, The Pictures Of All The Mice, Pictures Of everything wrong with the House, How It took 3 weeks to get rid Of the scabies, Pictures Of everything I Lost, Pictures Of the Basement Flooded , copy of The Inspection On The House How It was Last Inspected In 2001 Yes 2001 where The Law Here says He Has to Have It inspected every 3 yrs and the New Inspection that was Just done....

The Judge said to Me I Must Of accepted them Living condtions Because I didnt move right away!!!!! which In return I told The Judge I didnt Have the Money to Move due to I was On ssi and that I had Kept Marchs Rent from Him and sold My car In order to Move Because I couldnt Live In them condtions...

when the Judge went to Look at all My proof (which I had Over 100 Pics) He Just flipped threw them Like they were a flip Book He didn't really even Look at them Nor did He read either Inspection papers  Nor hospital Papers  The Judge I feel Had His Mind already Made up Before I even Went In there..

THEN  My slum lord states His Brother Moved Into that House :|Long story short.... The Judge Ruled In favor Of the SLUM LORD and  said The slum Lord Owed Me Nothing!!!!

I feel that Judge got paid Off and I didnt get a Fair hearing what so ever!!!!!! So I Lost everything I own due to scabies and He doesnt Have to replace anything what so ever and I cant apeal it either....

Check Out The album slum lord Of all The Pictures I gave to the Judge and tell Me If you think  I got a Unfair hearing.....

At less We are In a New Place and My Two Boys Have Beds and the church Helped Me with some cloths for Us and a frig Now to get couch's and a bed for Me My back cant handle The floor No More...

OMG Jennifer...that really sucks. I wish there was something more you could do. But I guess if you're out of there, then things have to get better. Maybe you could turn the papers over to the housing bureau...

Jennifer, it's horrible what you had to go through, and I'm glad you were able to move out. But from what I know, scabies is not caused by mice - are you sure you had scabies? They are only passed from person to person, or using bedding, etc from an infected person. At any rate, good luck to you and your boys.

sorry to hear of that. int he town i live in, the judges are the slumlords! so they always win. not only are they the slumlords, but they also own and control the parking attendants along wiht the towing yard. they ilegally towed my car, then auctioned it off, so i feel your pain.

From the experiences of everyone I know, lower courts tend to be "kangaroo courts." No one expects justice from them. He probably knows your landlord from previous eviction proceedings.

I sat in court one day and heard a policeman testify that there might have been a speed limit sign saying 45 mph a block before he gave the woman a ticket for going 45 in a 30. The judge still found the lady guilty. If that wasn't reasonable double, what is?

I know how it feels to prove your very clear case and then have it denied. I had a bad judge for my SSI hearing, and we're going against them again because there are so many complaints about the judge.

That is absolutely horrible.......what was with that judge anyway? It's just unreal that he ruled for the slumlord and not you........I would have been livid. You know, it might be an idea there....take the photos that you've got to the media.....let them broadcast it........and really embarrass the slum lord......you've certainly got enough photos!
I'm so sorry this nightmare happened to you but am very glad to hear that you've got another place now.
