Well I think today wrapped up my work in this Georgia yard. I mulched all the flowerbeds today. I'll be in South Carolina perminantly in about 6 weeks from now, and don't forsee doing anything else planting-wise here.
This is a continuation from these prior articles:
Doing a Little Spring Planting

Before I mulched the driveway bed above, I planted the two tiny impatiens in the front left of the photo. That was the size of the others when I originally planted the rest. So you can see that most have about tripled in size.

The side driveway bed hasn't had a lot of growth, and my purple clematis has 4 buds but no blooms yet. Up top you can see that all the hosta is up now as well as the encore azalea has bloomed.

The photo of the mailbox flowerbed is a tad over exposed. The light filtering through the pines was messing up the meter on my camera.
Finally the shot below just shows another encore azalea in bloom and that my lilies are all sprouted now. Still no blooms on any of them yet.

Thanks for looking at the progress.

We started mulching last year when we first moved in. I wish we would have got it all finished because we probably wouldn't have all the weeds taking over like they are. They are coming up like crazy between all of the other flowers that are growing.
You sure will be leaving a gorgeous garden. I love all the trees in your yard. It must feel so peaceful there.
Thanks for letting us see all you've done. :)
Nice job, enjoy it for the next six weeks:)
I plan on buying some flowers this weekend for home for work. I'll be taking care of 5 containers of whatever I want to grow at the office this summer.
You really do have a green thumb.
I need your help desperately down here in Dallas...
