I write out my goals for a day the night before. Somehow it gets in my brain and I find myself working on projects without even checking the list. I also carry a calendar with me all the time and a small notebook where I keep track of all kinds of things. One book and not all the little notes that used to get lost.

So my answer to it all is to have a schedule that works for me and the family being sure to take the time during the day or evening that is just for me. This is usually when I am home alone. When the kids were very small it was nap time and when I worked outside the house it was that hour after I put the kids to bed.

How do I keep my busy schedule straight? My planner, of course. Modern technology is all well and good, but I prefer having something that won't crash, doesn't need a power source, is lightweight and is easily portable.
