I have had a very interesting morning that, if it had been filmed, would definitely rank as a comedy.
I woke up to the smell of cat poop at 6:45 this morning because Bright Eyes had pooped under the bed. Of course, she didn't poop toward the bottom part of the bed where it would be easy to get to and clean up. NO! She had to poop at the end next to the headboard on the opposite side where I sleep and there are boxes and a table stacked over there so I can't get to it easily.
Instead, I have to use the broom handle to push it out from under the bed so I can dispose of it. That, in itself, was a "delightful" experience because Mercy thought that the broom under the bed was an invitation to play. Every time I would get the broom behind the poop to move it toward the foot of the bed, Mercy would stand right in front of it and I would have to push him to get him to move. And, I couldn't reach him to grab him and put him in a carrier briefly so it took much longer to clean up.
After all of that, I had my devotional time and took a shower and got dressed. Well, about that time, I noticed the A/C wasn't cooling and I was hot from my shower. First, I turned on the fan on top of the computer cart to get some air circulating. Then, I decided to clean out the filter. I wasn't thinking clearly and walked right past the fan with the dust covered filter in my hand and all of the dust blew all over me. It was all over my shirt and in my hair that I'd just washed.
So, I go to the bathroom and got it out of my hair and changed shirts. Then, right as I'm about to leave, I discover Marshmallow had peed on the kitchen floor so I had to get the bleach and the mop and clean that up. Just as I finished, Snowball threw up all over the carpet and I had to clean that up.
Unfortunately, all of this made me late for work and I had planned to be early today since I was late yesterday.
Like I said, it would have made a really good comedy if anyone had been filming it and I thought I'd brighten everyone's morning with a chuckle.
Hope your day has been less eventful!
