On his 100th day in office, Obama breaks his silence on the TEA Parties. Here's what he had to say...
"Those of you who are watching certain news channels on which I'm not very popular, and you see folks waving tea bags around, let me just remind them that I am happy to have a serious conversation about how we are going to cut our health care costs down over the long term, how we are going to stabilize Social Security. But let's not play games and pretend that the reason is because of the recovery act".
I'm sure MANY Americans... Democrats, Republicans and Independents... would LOVE to hear his "serious conversation" about how the cuts are going to happen.

--Individual pays $300.00 to $2000 per month for health insurance to the good ole all American Insurance company. But when diagnosed. The condition is declared by the insurance company as pre-existing and will not be covered. Now if you are over 30, nearly every thing you will be sick with will be "pre-existing".
So all that money paid in premiums is WASTED into the profit of the good ole all American health insurance company.
If you are totally opposed to tax paid healthcare, what if instead private insurance companies were ALL requiered to take care of ALL their customer's illnesses?
What if: Everyone nationwide had to have coverage, paid as a percentage of income?
What if: Everyone nationwide had to pay the same flat rate for insurance?
What if:
You who are so totally opposed to public financed health care had an idea or a clue or some options, because the system we have now Does Not Work.
More than 30% of us do not have health insurance.
The most amusing thread I consistently see on gather is people who have earlier in their history here mentioned they are on Medicare or other tax funded health care yet rant and rave about tax funded health care. . .
I give you Marilyn M,
and anyone who is on Social Security, or Social Security Disability, or anyone who is on SSI.
All are programs 100% opposed by Republicans.
Yes, I know Geo W gave his pharmaceutical buddies that prescription drug plan. I assure you he was hoping to finally and truly break the system and at the same time make his drugie buddies rich. Remember that "no price/cost negotiations" rule in the bill?
Is that insanity?
