Okay, there are just a few more days and counting down till the next Star Trek movie. In the meantime, I've finally written my review of the Star Trek comic book series, Star Trek Countdown. This 4 part comic book series is the official prequel to the up coming movie and I do highly recommend that if you get a chance, read it before seeing the movie; that is of course if you plan to see the movie. This is one of the best Star Trek comics I've yet to come across. The art is outstanding.

Star Trek creates an alternate universe you want to get lost in. It's an irresistible invitation for fun. What more can you ask of a summer movie?

I'm hoping to see the movie with my son. He's big into Star Wars & is finally getting to where he wants to see Star Trek too. Thanks for the review!

It is a really good one, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it even after seeing the movie. Did you check out my review? I have a YouTube video embedded at my review that has some great shots from the comicbook series. There you'll be able to see some of the fantastic art they have in thes comics. After you see it, you will want to read them even more.

I did check out your review and in fact today I was at the mall and purchased the graphic novel. I just read a few pages so far, but look forward to finishing it.

It definitely does have some great art!  As for Star Trek, I LOVE it, so I'm sure I'll fully enjoy this too.
