What do you see in these photos?

Do you see anything in these photos?  I would never have found it, if it weren't for my long lens on my camera.  Just looks like water to me.  Well if you look real close, tell me what you see?  Can't figure it out?  Look at the last ones where I used the long lens!

 

Yes, he is using his tail as a worm.  He is fishing!

That's unusual. I've never seen a snake fish before. I assumed that snakes that live mostly in the water like Water Moccasins must eat something in the water. I've never seen a snake this large out on the water, though. It looks large enough to be a boa but it doesn't look like a boa to me. It's a big snake that I wouldn't want to encounter without a shot gun in my hand.

I could see something but couldn't make it out until the third picture. The animal kingdom still amazes us with all we don't know about them. Yet another creature besides man who uses 'tools' to complete a task. Who says we're the only advanced species?

Very interesting. It doesn't look totally comfortable, but then I can't curl back on myself like that either. Would be interesting to watch it's fishing technique, if that's what it is doing.

that is a queen snake, they live on fish and water insects, we have had them as pets
and they are not very big when is comes to snakes Ive played with a lot of them and they have never tried to bite, they are non poisonous.

Oh and yes it is fishing they put their tails in the water and wiggle them to get the fish to come, I have a shot posted from a few years ago doing this, I have never actually be able to get a shot of them actually catching one though its just to fast
