A day at the races! Pictures from Talladega on Sunday.

 

 Getting into the track was no problem. Getting out well that is another story.

 

 Our beautiful flag waving

 

 The National Anthem

 

 The F-15 Fly over

 

 Lining up and getting ready

 

 The official pace car was a truck today

 

 A little reminder to the fans

 

"Lets go racing boys. Boogity boogity boogity!"

 

 Nascar's three year running champion and my favorite driver Jimmie Johnson.          

 

 Making sure the driver is alright and cleaning up after a wreck

 

 Well Jimmie was in the lead a few times. At least we got some points for leading a lap.

 

 Time for some pit stops

 

 Better get that right front wheel checked out

 

 After Carl Edward's big wreck this is all you could see

 

 What is left of Carl's car being towed off the track

 

Oh yeah and your winner Brad Keselowski ( still trying to figure out if he even has any fans in the Cup series LOL)

 

 Hope you enjoyed a little peek at the race.

Hey Rob it was kind of hard to get photos of Jeff when he was in the garage at lap 6 or 7. LOL I did get a couple when he came back out that I'll post in the next few days.

Priscilla - It is ok . He can't win them all and I still had a great time.

Great pics! My husband and a few friends try to get to Talladega once a season for one of the races and it's their favorite track.
