This scripture below has been such a blessing to me today and at other times in my life when I'm facing a trial that I thought it might bless your day and life as well. I'm going to put three different versions below because sometimes just the way another version words the scripture, it will have a more personal impact for you. Anyway, here is the scripture:
King James Version (KJV)
Passage 1 Corinthians 10:13:
13There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Amplified Bible (AMP)
Passage 1 Corinthians 10:13:
13For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not [a]adjusted and [b]adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to [c]a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently.
The Message (MSG)
Passage 1 Corinthians 10:13:
13No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he'll never let you be pushed past your limit; he'll always be there to help you come through it.
The basics of what the scripture is talking about is that no matter what may come your way and what you may be facing, God has a way out if you will trust Him. God is faithful and full of compassion, the Amplified version says.
This morning, I was having some challenges because of a trial I'm going through at the moment (I will tell you about it after it's over) and I felt the Holy Spirit lead me to listen to a tape of Jerry Savelle's called "You're Coming Through This." I put on my headphones on the way to work and listened and by the time I got here, my faith was so high again.
The thing is, God was trying to get me to start listening to teaching tapes on the way to and from work about two weeks ago before this challenge arose and if I had listened, I probably wouldn't have gone through the last few days battling fear. But at least I finally did listen and, as usual, the teachings are a marvelous blessing.
I hope this scripture helps you in something you are going through as well. I do have one suggestion and that is to not talk the problem or situation. That means don't go run to your best friend and lament over what is happening to you. Calling to get prayer is fine but if you focus more on the problem instead of on the solution in the scriptures, your problem will seem bigger than God, which is not what you want if you expect to come out victoriously.
I learned a few years ago to just keep my mouth shut and speak the scriptures and praise God when the enemy tries to make me afraid of something. Keep in mind that if you feel even the slightest twinge of fear, that's not God. That's the enemy and it's a lie! It's a smokescreen that the enemy puts before your eyes to get you to believe what he says instead of what God sees for you. Kenneth Copeland and Jerry Savelle use the phrase, "The shadow of a dog never bit anyone." It means that a shadow can't hurt you and that's what those lies the devil has been feeding you are. They are shadows of what could be but if you choose to listen to what God's Word says about your situation instead, those lies can't hurt you.
Now if some of you out there are going through trials and you don't know a scripture to stand on and you need encouragement, email me. I may be able to help. I'm not going to get into a pity party with you but I will see if I can help you with a scripture that you can stand on for your own victory.
I have to stop for now. I hope this has blessed you and I encourage you to praise God no matter what you may be facing because He does have a way out if you'll trust Him!

Thank you for posting to sparealine.gather.com
If God brings us to it, He will bring us through it, no matter what it is. We just need to 'be still and know that He is God' and trust him and follow His guidance one step at a time.
It is the truth. Thank you for sharing.
