If You Can Dream It - Interactive Creative Writing Project Week 10

If you can dream it, you can be it.

All dreams are about ourselves.

We dream what is on our minds.

We can control our dreams.

Whether or not you and your character believe these statements, I would like to know about the startling dream your character had last night and how s/he interprets it. It could be good news, devastating news, encouraging or frightening. Your character might want to forget the dream or it might be something that will change your character's life.

Tell us if your character usually remembers dreams of if this is something new. Is it a recurring dream? If so, when did it start? What does your character think it means?

Give as much detail as possible. Let us know if any other characters are involved.

In my metafiction, the story told by the central character of the first part, which is the story of the second part, was instigated by a dream. And, meta-meta, the story itself was instigated by a dream that I had long ago.
