Have you lost someone in the Past year?

In the past year I have lost several close family and freinds. People I knew would pass and people I never thought would die before me!

My brother Jack (age 48) was shocking but in all honesty he made it farther then the Drs gave him. We kind of thought ,"maybe the Drs are wrong? THey werent. It just took a little longer than the estimate they gave him.

Freinds of my little brother are going left and right. These kids prolly looked at me and said Oh THe older sister?

Well you get the idea. It is very weird,

Who have you lost and was it expected(it still hurts)!

My mother died after a month in the hospice - October 29, 2008

I lost my brother-in-law last August in a motorcycle accident. He was 29 and he and my sister had only been married for two years.

I lost my sister suddenly on 11/24/08, a total shock. My Dad passed on 12/4/07, but it was expected.

My FIL passed away in February.

So sorry for all the losses you have had! It is horrible to deal with, especially with so many close together. Just take one day at a time.

Sorry for your losses, Norene, and the pain you have been going through. It is very stressful to the system. Right now my mother's next door neighbor is in hospice. They still don't know what's wrong with her. She hasn't been sick very long. She is 10 or 12 years younger than my mother. They have looked after each other. Mostly, she has looked after my mom. My mom is having a hard time with it.
