When I went to Boone NC on Sunday I stopped by a local lake. I found some beautiful Canada geese living at the lake. I got one shot that I think is one of the best shots I have ever gotten. Click here to see it. As I already uploaded it.

The geese had one little gosling with them. Another lady that was at the lake said that yesterday they had two. I wonder what happen to the other gosling/s.
Mom and Dad raise the goslings together. The male will try and fight off anything that trys to harm the goslings. I don't know how to tell male from female.
Goslings never get too far away. They say that communication with the little buggers start while still in the egg. Wow peeps coming from the eggs!
If you look close you can see the gosling in to the right of this next photo.
These are very beautiful birds.
I didn't know that they eat so much grass. I watched them eat grass after grass after grass.
Eating more grass.
