My favorite tip that I found was a link to the Reader's Digest site with instructions on how to give your self a massage. I have a lot of back problems, and massages really help. But in this economy, they are just not in my budget for now. I am so glad that I found this, and I can't wait to try it out! Here is the link for the self massage ...

Once a month combine Tea Tree Oil and Jojoba Oil and put it in your hair for a day. Or, if put it in your hair and sleep with it in for the night – just remember to put a towel down. This will revitalize your hair and have it looking fabulous.

My favorite tip is #4 in the 5 ways I stay sane article: Making manageable to-do lists
I make lists all the time but I've had to learn to make lists of attainable goals for any given day and not bog myself down. Also, I've had to learn to not be disappointed if I do not complete every task on my list. Tomorrow is another day!

My favorite tip is "Waking up a Little Early." It's my favorite because I know how true it is. When I'm working and have to get up early anyhow, I get up an hour earlier than necessary so I have time to relax and not feel rushed. When I'm not working, I always have a list of things I have to do; if I get up before or by 6 a.m., I don't feel like I'm wasting time if I sit and watch the morning news and drink coffee before I begin the day.

The tip I think is my favorite is to get up 20 minutes before your children. I hate mornings, and don't like getting up. Part of it is the struggle I have in getting the kids out of bed and ready for school each day. I feel like I wake up with a headache, and make it worse.

They offer many good tips, but I think the one I like the best and will try more often is Going for Walks Outside: Sometimes the only way I can get away from laundry, dishes, and other household stresses is by taking a walk outside. Even if it is for 10 minutes, taking a walk helps me calm down, contemplate, and become more relaxed.
Plus followed by this one: Laughing: When everything hits the fan, sometimes I just have to laugh at how crazy things are, and joke about them with the people in my life. It’s a good way to help myself remember to not take life so seriously.
After all laughter is always the best medicine! And it's not bitter tasting.

The tip I liked most... Finding "My Space". I need to do this and I'm moving it to the top of my priority list this weekend! I homeschool my two youngest boys so we are together nearly 24/7. I love being with them, but sometimes I feel as though I need to just "disappear" for a few moments to enjoy just ME. I'm hoping to find a space that I can use JUST for this purpose. When I'm there, everyone will know I'm off limits!
