Three months into her new role as America’s First Lady, Michelle Obama, age 45, received a 79% approval rating, according to a USA Today/Gallup Poll conducted last week.
Do you approve…or disapprove of the way Michelle Obama is handling her job as First Lady?

I think when people say they approve of the job she is doing they really mean they just like her. No problem with that, I like her well enough I guess, but what are we voting our approval on really?
Now she seems to be more dedicated to protecting her kids from DC schools and the public eye so power to her there. The publicity has probably already gotten old and she saw the horrible mistake of a power mongering First Lady like Hillary to try and avoid.
In reality though, who cares? As long as she is not Hillary she will not be a big factor. Nothing she does will change my low opinion of her husband regardless.
Funny that Americans, once they had completed their war to rid themselves of the British monarchy, immediately went about bestowing the trappings of monarchy on the office of president.
Michele Obama has done a fine job in her first few months in this role. She has done the things that a First Lady usually does, supporting charitable and cultural enterprises.
She is also the first First Lady about whom I have been able to entertain fantasies. I give her points for that, too.
She is nothing but a cover girl. Did you see her in the $540 sneakers?
Rosalyn Carter once hugged an AIDES child back in the days when not much was known about how the disease spread. Mrs. Roosevelt worked for Civil Rights when that movement was unpopular. Dollty Madison risked her life to save White house antiques.
I doubt those ladies would approve of Michelle and the mindless interviews in women's magazines.
