As a BzzAgent, I was also selected for the Diet Mountain Dew campaign. Since it had been years since I had Mountain Dew, I thought this would be a good campaign to join.
My Bzz kit consisted of the Bzzguide, two cans of Diet Mountain Dew, a coupon for a free 12-pack, and coupons for discounted 12-packs. Though I don't drink much pop these days, I still enjoy it every now and again. Typically, I drink full-calorie soda about once a month (or less). I used to drink diet soda drinks but don't like the after taste that comes with the artificial sweeteners.
Immediately, I put the two cans of Dew in the fridge so that they'd be ready for me when I decided to try them out.
My husband and I worked out one afternoon last week and after the workout, I had my frist Dew. I'd have to say that if you're a Mountain dew fan, the artificial sweetener that I find so repulsive in most diet drinks was much less noticeable in the Diet Mountain Dew. It wasn't bad and was refreshing after my workout.
Diet Mountain Dew has zero calories, zero fat, zero sugar, and zero carbs. If you are a fan of the higher-caloried, non-diet Mountain Dew and think it might be high time to cut back on those calories, I'd recommend it as better than average for a diet drink.
I don't foresee Diet Mountain Dew becoming a staple on my grocery list, but I do feel that it's not bad for a diet soda.
