PUNCH NEAPOLITAN PIZZA

A local pizza place came up with an awesome promotion for April. They offered coupons for their Classic Pizzas -  at 1950 prices!

Because of the brutal economy they wanted to do something to help make a night out or a lunch a cheap date or treat. Someone came up with the idea that they figure out what a classic Punch Pizza would have cost in 1950. It was $3.00!

We ordered the VESUVIO, with spiced salami, saracene olives, cracked red pepper, pepperoncini and fresh basil, which regularly costs $9.45. What a great deal!

Punch, opened in 1996, has 6 locations here in Minnesota. The offer expires next Thursday, April 30.

I would have been ordering a coupler of those $3 pies at a time...some would go in the freezer and I'd be eating pizza every day during this promotion. Plain cheese is fine with me.

Wow...that pizza looks good. And, at $9.45, around here it would still be a bargain! I can buy a pizza for $19 just down the hill where youngest daughter is working tonight!

Unfortunately we have had pizza wars here for way too long and almost all pizza in the Detroit area tastes horrible. It seems the cheapest artificial ingredients that can be found are used.
