I agree, Chana. Julian is the spittin' image of his dad and has his voice, too. I like this arrangement of the song. It has a softer, sweeter sound than the DC5 version.

Dee, I read Cynthia Lennon's biography concerning her life with John and she said Julian had opened a restaurant. Maybe the shadow of his father was a little to much for him?

I enjoyed the few songs he recorded in the 80's but always felt that his being a carbon copy of his father, both in looks and voice, would prevent him from ever having a successful or extended career of his own....Sad that his talent should have been wasted BECAUSE of that...

Have you heard his LP "VAllotte"? Good original music.

This song was the one my husband Gordon and his partner Peter did at the Mike Smith (of the DC5) benefit at BB Kings in NYC. mike sadly passed away last year from his accident and is missed.
