Deli Creations: Steakhouse Chedder, a review

Hi all! I was recently selected to receive a Steakhouse Cheddar Deli Creations sandwich. I  must admit it was very tasty and delicious. What was included was the Kraft Deli Deluxe  2% Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Kraft mayo light, Kraft Steakhouse sauce, a country white sub roll, and the Oscar Meyer Shaved Slow Roasted Roast Beef.

 

Besides how delicious the sandwich was there were a couple of interesting things about this product.  On the roast beef, it said "contains up to 20% of a flavoring solution browned with caramel color." I'm guessing it's to make the roast beef look like roast beef.

Also, if you have to watch your sodium intake, this  sandwich probably isn't for you as this sodium intake has 59% of the daily requirements with 1410 mg of sodium in it.

 

Would I get this sandwich again? Definitely, as it was very delicious.

I didn't like the cheddar as much as the pepper jack. The sandwich was really good but the meat reminded me of dog food initially.

Great review. We just cashed in two free coupons on these sandwiches. They are a bit high in carbs but reasonable in calories. My husband will be eathing them so he'll tell me what he thinks.

Thanks for the review. I was wondering about the 'steak' part. Sounds more like a roast beef? Agreed, additives and sodium are high for each. Think all 5 varieties with a 'bun' are getting mentioned. There are flatbread ones too, but I'll avoid those.

This is a great review. It does sound like a good sandwich but with the soduim content I need to take a pass on trying it.

Thanks for the review. I don't like the creations on rolls, I found the roll to be dry and too much roll compared to the meat. I like the flatbreads though.

The high salt content of these products is most likely used as a preservation method. They are wonderfully delicious :)

Sounds good. I am a believer that any diet will work if you stick to it. I'm curious if there was a calorie count with that sandwich? (I'm counting calories, can you tell?)

I liked the sandwiches, too, but thought the sodium was very high, and the sodium in the sandwiches I tried was even less than yours. Great review.
