I dreamed that I
stood way out in space
I gazed out at a woundrous whirlpool made of stars flung out by a giant hand
Wild clouds roared thunder from lightning all around it
But on the tiny patch of solid nothing where I stood all was calm
Then suddenly I was propelled forward into the whirlpool
as the glorious flaming jewels of color swung around
A gentle soundless voice murmured in my ear "Thus we begin the tale."
"Watch, then bring me home your memories, my child."
I slept, to wake here upon this Earth an infant
here in this school of hard knocks
But when my task here is done, I will fly home again
to tell my tale of Earth, and fly free in The Light once more.
