When I need more energy, I go for a walk. Taking a stroll around the block clears my head. Not only do I get a breath of fresh air, but I'm exercising and I having fun people-watching. Then I come back to the office feeling refreshed and ready to go!

Then, my head is cleared and ready to go back to work.
If I am out on a call, that one is tougher to do. I can only walk away from their computer for a couple of minutes. Or if a client wants to talk about their personal life for awhile, I am all for that! I have made many friends over the years.
Through the day, when I get up to do something, I make sure my glass of iced lemon water is refilled. When I get bored or am impatiently waiting for a web page to load, I stop for a bit, look out the window, and drink some water. It keeps me from eating bad snacks.
In the Winter I simply get up off the couch, get outta of my jammies and do anything!! Winter is hard because I feel trapped in my home, in from the freezing cold!
In the Summer now there are lots of things I do! I love to fiddle in the flower beds, pick weeds, reshape the bushes, mow the lawn-just soak up the Sun! I love to go for walks in the late afternoons with my neighbor for some "adult" time-Pretty much anything outside!
When it's nice outside, we generally spend several hours outside playing and we go for at least one walk most days. When it's too cold to play outside (winters are LONG here in northern ND), we dance and do yoga in the house.
I also sit down and unwind by surfing the net and Gather for a while.
I drink energy drinks to help me.
I have been so tired the past few days i have been sleeping. otherwise i grab a soda which is not a good idea but it does get me thru to finish what i need to finish around here. I could use an energy booster..

2. Get out my Shuffle and crank up the cardio music, specifically "Rodeo (Copeland)." (Ideally, I would be on my treadmill when this happens.
