I won the lottery!!

Lately, I've been having dreams that I should play the lottery. And, every time I go by a store that sells lottery tickets, I get a feeling that I should be buying a ticket. Call it crazy, but I think that someone out there was telling me that I should be playing.

So yesterday I went to buy our weekly groceries and noticed that they had set up a brand new automatic lottery machine inside the grocery store. You simply put in your money, select your game, and print your ticket. So, I asked my regular cashier about it and she told me it was super easy to use. So, I told her about my feeling that I should be playing and also told her my belief that someone has to win, and it might as well be me. She said "Go for it! You never know."

So that's what I did. I bought my tickets and went home and unloaded my groceries.

This morning I checked my numbers and I actually won!!!

I didn't win the jackpot, but I did win $10 which is more than I spent since I only played $5 so I doubled my money! Plus, I'm taking this as a sign to keep playing, and maybe soon I'll be writing about winning that big jackpot!
